Daniel Yomtobian - Early Days

Daniel Yomtobian was born in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California, in 1977. He was raised in Los Angeles with his sister who is one year older than Daniel. Their father is a businessman and their mother currently works as a social worker. Both of Daniel's parents immigrated to the U.S. while in their teens.

The early days of Daniel's childhood were filled with financial hardships and times of distress. During his childhood Danny Yomtoibian often assisted his father during the summer months to his father's printing store. Daniel was also active in playing sports and was a member of his high school football team for two years. While he enjoyed being involved in extra-curricular activities, at the age of fifteen he quit the football team and began working at a local grocery store bagging groceries. During the day Daniel attended high school while simultaneously working at the grocery store at night.

During these early years Daniel's career was motivated by an overwhelming drive to exceed. Being raised in a hard-working family Daniel made a conscious decision to excel early in his career.

During his senior year in high school Daniel Yomtobian was promoted at his job from 'box-boy' to 'dairy/deli' and he was hopeful that his future would entail further promotions until one day advancing to a managerial position. At the same time, Daniel became interested in computers after his mother saved up enough money to purchase him his first computer. Concurrently, Daniel's father began getting involved in domain name investments on the Internet.
